Crunchbase is platform for finding business information about private and public companies, investors and investment rounds. This Crunchbase spreadsheet integration for Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel enables you to import data from your Crunchbase account API, like organizations, people, and investor information. This add-on will enable you to integrate on-demand, refreshable private and public company data without leaving your spreadsheet.

For example, with this Excel and Google Sheets add-on you can:

  • Import data about people, such as their first and last name, title, Facebook URL, and Twitter URL
  • Extract data about an organization, such as a short description, stock ticker symbol, domain, homepage URL, facebook URL, and twitter URL

Crunchbase Organization Enrichment

Return information about an organization based on domain name.

Syntax

=FLEX("YOUR_TEAM_NAME/crunchbase-enrich-org", domain, [properties])

Parameters

Property Type Description Required
domain string The domain name of the organization from which you want to retrieve information. For example, "apple.com". If no domain is specified, the function returns the properties names. true
properties array The properties to return (defaults to all properties). See "Notes" for a listing of the available properties. false

  • is_closed: whether or not the organization is closed
  • closed_on: date the organization closed, if applicable
  • closed_on_trust_code: the closed-on trust code

Crunchbase Lead Investor

Returns information about the lead investor for a company for a particular round

Syntax

Parameters

Property Type Description Required
domain string The domain name of the organization for which you want to retrieve information. For example, "google.com". If no domain is specified, the function returns the properties names. true
round string The type of round to find the lead investor for; options include "Seed", "Angel", "Venture", "A", "B", etc. and are case-insensitive. true
properties array The properties to return (defaults to all properties). See "Notes" for a listing of the available properties. false
